Job description
Twipe is a mediatech scale-up based in Leuven, Belgium working with leading newspaper publishers in Europe to grow their digital subscribers and sustain quality journalism. We offer cloud based digital edition publishing, analytics, and personalisation. Our solutions accelerate the growth of newspapers like the Le Monde, The Telegraph and Ouest-France. To inspire our industry, we gather and analyse publishing knowledge and share insights with our growing Future of News publishers’ community.
As a Technical Support Engineer you are part of our services team and will be responsible for providing excellent applications support to our customers. Besides that, you will also be our go-to person for technical questions and solving recurring problems.
Your Responsibilities
You will pick up incoming client questions and prioritize them to be resolved with the correct urgency.
You will be responsible for incident prioritization, follow-up and resolution. Connecting the right experts to the case when needed.
Acknowledging which cases take priority according to domain and business priority.
Improve support processes by recognizing recurring issues.
You create, maintain, and improve documentation.
You will follow up and coach our external support and testing partner.

Your Profile
You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
You have good knowledge of scripting languages and SQL.
Knowledge of FTP, http and mobile app management lifecycle.
You are fluent in English, knowledge of French or German is a plus.
Experience or interest in mobile platform distribution and development is a plus
Experience or interest with cloud solutions (AWS) is also a plus
