Twipe is a media tech scale-up based in Leuven, Belgium. We build apps, analytics, and personalization solutions for over 140 publishers, including Le Monde, The Telegraph, the Daily Mail, and various Mediahuis titles (e.g., De Standaard, Het Nieuwsblad, De Telegraaf).  

Context on your role 

The Digital Growth Summit (DGS) is an annual, invite-only gathering of media industry leaders. This year’s event is our 8th edition and will take place in Stuttgart, Germany, on October 14th.  

Over one information-packed day, around 140 C-levels and Project Managers in the news industry will gather to network and share digital strategies. Speakers from the news industry, academia, and pioneering tech companies present case studies and insights. Participants will also engage with each other in workshop sessions on specific challenges.  

What do you do? 

  • Develop and implement a social media communications campaign schedule (primarily over LinkedIn) to increase the visibility of the event and promote ticket sales.  

  • Design visually compelling social media posts, ensuring consistency with our brand’s aesthetic and communication guidelines. 

  • Regularly update and manage the DGS website, Eventbrite space, and LinkedIn page to ensure accurate and current information is always available. 

  • Conceptualize and design the layout of the physical event space, coordinating with vendors and stakeholders to ensure the setup aligns with the theme and meets functional needs. 

  • Create and design the master slide deck for DGS using PowerPoint. 

Your track record: 

  • Proven experience in social media management and digital content creation. 

  • Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Figma, Canva, and PowerPoint. 

  • Experience in website (WordPress) and social media platform (LinkedIn, Instagram, X) management. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. 

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
